Registration for the Valentine’s Day Curling Cup 2027 is open. The tournament will take place from February 12 to 14, 2027, at the Curling Łódź arena in Łódź. Participation is limited to 16 teams, with entry determined by the order of registration. We also accept individual registrations :)
Tournament for seniors 50+
VALENTINE’S DAY CUP is intended for seniors 50+. People who are 50 years old by December 31, 2027 are invited to participate. We invite teams:
– females,
– men,
– mixed,
– wheelchairs.
The team may consist of a maximum of 5 people.
The competition will take place on the weekend of February 12-14, 2027.
Curling Lodz Arena
It is the only professionally equipped hall in Poland, intended only for curling. The WCT Mixed Doubles series and all Polish championship competitions are held there every year. Curling Lodz Arena is adapted for people with disabilities.
The arena has:
– 4 tracks,
– separate changing rooms for women and men,
– bar with hot and cold drinks, including beer,
– other sports attractions, such as darts, cornhole or floor curling,
– a mini tribune with screens for watching the competition, – parking spaces.

The entry fee is EUR 350. The entry fee can be paid to the account:

Game system
16 teams will take part in the tournament, depending on the number of entries. The tournament will be held in the Schenkel system. Each team is guaranteed at least 5 matches. The first opponent will be randomly assigned. Matches will last 100 minutes. The end signal is the signal of the last end. A team receives 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. You will be able to follow the match results on curlingevent.com.

Valentine’s Day Party
On the evening of February 12, we invite everyone to the Valentine’s Day Party at the AGAT Hotel. You will be able to eat, drink, talk, dance and take part in competitions with prizes. The party cost is:
– 35 euros for a person who is a team member,
– 35 euros per accompanying person who is not a team member.
Note: The tournament entry fee does not include participation in the Valentine’s Party. Note: The number of places for the party is limited. Please provide the number of people interested when registering your team for the tournament.

We will help all foreign teams find accommodation.
Hotel AGAT
With the password CURLING, the room price is:
– single room from PLN 220 (approx. EUR 50),
– double room from PLN 240,
Breakfasts at additional charge of PLN 35 (less than EUR 10) per person. The hotel is a 7-minute drive from the arena (14 minutes during peak hours). It is located on the entrance road to Łódź from the highway from Warsaw and Poznań. Next to the hotel, there is Grill Bar AGAT, where you can eat very tasty lunches and dinners at affordable prices of approx. PLN 50 (approx. 12 euros). A Valentine’s Day Party will be held at the AGAT hotel on the evening of February 12.

Łódź – Our City
Łódź is the fourth largest city in Poland. It is located in central Poland, right at the intersection of the two most important highways (A1 north-south and A2 east-west). The most important tourist attractions of Łódź are:

Organizers
The main organizer of the tournament is the ŁKS Curling Team. Our team is part of ŁKS Łódź, the oldest sports club in Łódź. It is a club with 9 sections:
– football,
– women’s volleyball,
– women’s basketball,
– men’s basketball,
– boxing,
– kick-boxing,
– walking football,
– curling,
– recreation sports.
The ŁKS club has existed since 1908 and has raised many representatives of Poland. 24 athletes from ŁKS have competed in the Olympic Games (from 1924 to date), including three volleyball players at the Paris 2024 Games.
